next chapter

this week’s the last week in our soho office at the central. moving to martin road by the end of the week. so heres the end to yet another “chapter” of my life. might even be goodbye to blackliner soon. I’ve started rolling out the job applications. first one done yesterday. hope I get some calls soon :/ but the prospect of going for an interview is quite scary, especially for the one that I really want. I’d have to prepare for it in many ways.

ANYWAY. on to other things. MY HAMMY (LOLLY) GAVE BIRTH ON TUESDAY. my holy heavens. got home on sunday, noticed on monday that lolly was kinda fat and heavy, thinking she could be pregnant I planned to google hamster pregnancy cycles the next morning. next morning, the babies were there. anyway, it’s down to 2 babies… LOLLY/MANGO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE YOU CANNIBALS. anyway the 2 are growing pretty fine… tiny hairs starting to grow hehe. their names shall be

1) paddle

2) push

cus the family’s last name is POP . HAHA. mango and lolly pop. so the pop family welcomes paddle pop and push pop. how cute :)

AND. today is palm sunday! THE END OF LENT. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.

BUBBLE TEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that’s what we’re supposde to do. not mangle our faces and show everyone we’re suffering.

but I am suffering.

because this lent I decided to give up bubble tea. I  thought about it real long and decided that that was the only thing fairly consistent in my life now (how pathetic). I’m doing this for God. so at the same time I hope I can find the time to talk to Him more, because ever since I started work, I haven’t really been doing that.

perhaps thats what makes my life feel so sad and empty these days.

so I suppose, a simple sacrifice like byebye to bubble tea really is no biggie compared to Jesus’ sacrifice at calvary.

so thanks God. to God be the glory.

bubble tea addiction

I’m excited for the  china new year holidays. can’t wait for the real BREAK from calls etc. NO PHONE HA.

went to fusionopolis today to shop at cold storage so I called on bert!! haha so nice he came down to visit. I think we might go visiting lol. oh welllll. oh and today was zee’s last day :O farewell crazy swimmer girl, my lil yong tau foo buddy. haha

anyway apart from this BRIEF update. life has been very dull. I try to fit in some swimming sessions and hockey tuesdays to balance my inactive desk job lifestyle.

bubble tea is the only thing I constantly look forward to every lunch time. even so, if the sun burns too hot and I’m wearing the wrong shoes, I don’t have the motivation to walk to chinatown to buy the cuppa.
