11 days old

…no, not me. my little hammies are rapidly growing and I’m afraid that soon, the inevitable will have to happen. they shall have to move out. no definite home found yet though! :( it’ll have to be somewhere close so that I’ll be able to keep track of their growth and progress. by the way.. only 3 remain. SO TRAGIC!! why are hamsters so cannabalistic! I wanted to strangle little paddle for eating her own flesh and blood. sicko. I think the little ones are gonna open their eyes very soon though. names??? I’ve run out of ideas. all thepretty names have gone into naming…

plants. I have a new plant in the office. woohoo! I mean. plant to be. planted the little fella today during lunch time with stolen soil from home. the packet says 15 days till germination. whatever germination is… I vaguely recall/ and roughly deduce that it means till the seedling emerges from the soil. looking forward to xxxxxx blooming will help to pass my days in the office :)

boy am I somewhat glad that work makes me sick of the computer, so I end up not surfing facebook or anything else much. (except for now… I couldn’t resist the call of my blog to be a b***h tonight) I have not logged on to msn in ages now too. though I really wanna so that I cantalk to friends like.. little friend (hi ya!) and 1 or 2 others I miss loads.

oh yes lil friend, if you read this, I cannot agree enough with the many things you’ve mentioned in your blog here and there.. I wish your blog had the comment feature so that I could randomly hit the box and go “YAAAAAA!!”

oh nooooo

it’s that time of the year once again. this time I really don’t have any catchy line to say to hang on to my current number…

last year it was “FOREVER 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” sigh. the years just keep rolling by. 3 years ago I told myself I was old because I was no longer a teen. now I look at my friends who are 20 and think how young they are, I was. next year I’m gonna tell myself I was stupid for this… and so on. it’ll never end unless I start believing that WE can stay young at heart.

on another note. germany lost!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I was soooo sad and somewhat annoyed because the game was at 230am. and MY germany lost. now that’s another 4 years to wait. 4 years ago I sat down and cried with ballack when they lost to italy (come to think of it, maybe spain might win since they are now in what was italy’s position). at least this time round I’m not so emotional anymore. but I’m still sad and largely affected by the fact that it’s gonna be another long wait . and I’ll be 4 years older again by then. omg

my mother says it’s a ‘phase’ I’ll eventually grow out of. so I said… NOOO. grown men still worship sports and emo over such events. and she said……….

oh well.

I’m slightly over a month into my days at wiley now. I like my team. they’re the most teamed-team in the department and not to mention also the youngest team!! yeah. the sneaky people totally celebrated my birthday by disguising the surprise in the most discreet way ever. meeting in the BOARDROOM?? holy crap. and I thought I was late. I was like..”sh*t, I didn’t know everyone was already in the room.” heehee. very nicee. my team leader (who’s also a manager) stole my birthdate from my resume. scary huh. haha

so yes. I’m happy in my company. but. my entire family is getting more and more tired of living in singapore for countless reasons. as it is, I can’t even think or say for sure where I migth be in the next year or 2.

and my hamsters stink to the holy high heavens. the stinky little things aren’t toilet trained unlike hammy and their predecessors were! sO ANNOYING. I bought those special magic paper shavings that was supposed to help, but the stupid things ATE IT instead. I mean… PEE IN IT NOT EAT ITyou little pieces of ham!! anyhow. I love my little babies still. just a tad frustrating and extra work added to my load.

I saw the 1goal ad withJessica Alba. I could place myself in exactly wherever she was now that I’ve been there and been to schools even poorer and more backward than the ones she went to. I still think LEsotho was an amazing experience and I hate that I am beginning to forget.

World CUp fever is on!! I haven’t seen a single game yet. so pathetic. GO SOCCEROOS AND GERMANY! :) time to pull out all my german team gear after 4 years. I watch football every 4 years. yes.

end of week 2. the real work has started. and I’ve already encountered several unfortunate difficulties. anyway my office is superbly cold, and even though I’ve been wearing long sleeves and whatnot I have still been freezing my ass off. I have a good mind to bring along my winter coat on monday!!

OH!! I received my lens in the mail last week :) but before I could fit it on I had to take it apart and alter it a little bit. cus it was an auto lens without MF-AF switch. so cool.

first day of work was an infomation overload. but no sweat, I’m coollll. I love the whole work-life balance thing they’ve got going.

on to other very exciting news… I was completely disciplined and stayed off mobile web, and the internet until now! that’s because I waited ever so patiently for the replay of this morning’s game (which I missed live, cus I had to go to work). and my sweeeeeet patience paid off. HAWKS GOT THEIR REVENGE ON THE FLYERS HAAAAAAAAAAA 3 GOAL DEFICIT :)

it was as good as watching the game live. so I’m not gonna fret about not being able to watch the next, and possibly last game live. just gotta stay away from any potential news updates sources. only downside to it is that I know I am reacting and celebrating on my own and not with the hundreds of thousands of fans watching it live.. 12 hours earlier.

OH WELL. AHHHHHHHHHH I’m so excited and happy. and yet I know I’ve gotta keep my mind focussed on everything going on at work and training. or else I’ll be screwed.

imho toews is the best offensive player even if he hasn’t been scoring many assists nor any goals lately. I’m really hoping he can score big the next game so that danny briere doesn’t beat him to the prize! also, the more I watch, the more I love kane! his stick handling is UBER AMAZING. and he keeps his (quick) feet moving nonstop. and gosh help me, I like marian hossa too even though he played for the red wings (boo) last year. well he’s now crossed over from the dark side so I guess its okay. HAHA

edit: addressed to lil friend- about the hamster post! hahaa. and youk now what?? one of my young hammies DID get impregnated by mango and gave birth just 3 days after lolly did. but by the time I saw them the babies were dead. a real pathetic sight. as if they were just trampled over and left there (not even eaten by paddle). and yes, lolly ate up her babies too. so no hammy babies left. :(
