kenji johjima leaves the mariners

he has decided to return to Japan! all the best, kenji! I’m gonna miss watching him when the mariners play now but at least ichiro and his 200hit seasons will still be there – the main reason I’m a huge fan of the mariners hehe. maybe when I move back to Japan someday I’ll go visit kenji, since fukudome is no longer in nagoya. (on a side note, I wonder how ibata is doing these days…)

anyway, I submitted my psych report yesterday. yet another 1 down. 1 TO GO. it’s hard to believe that (hopefully) by the end of this week I will almost be like a free bird, released from its cage. and the rest of the enclosure disappears nov6…

D & HD, true definition

its an undeniably good feeling and overwhelming sense of happiness when you get back your marked papers and see that all that pain you went through actually paid off. I’m on a roll here… though I wonder if I can keep this up till the end. only 2 final papers to go. and then exams. then I’ll know for sure

little things

I’m easily contented-

it’s funny how simple little things can put a smile on my face

and then I end up looking like a goofy fool smiling to myself.

thank goodness I’m at home right now so there’s no one to notice that…

anyway, I just webcammed with Noli!! haven’t seen her in ages it was so nice! and haha, saw some old videos on her blog… that’s where the smile began.

haven’t seen snow in 2 years… but there’s a chance that it will snow -flurries- tonight. we’ll see. :)

studying for tomorrow’s exam now.

overate again today. the original pancake house with ubcers- 4 pancakes (2 buttermilk, 2 chocolate chip), 2 scrambled eggs. I finished it all.

yes, cried over homework I didn’t know how and couldn’t do. it was late and I still had a ton of things to study for and finish.

can seem really, really long when you still have 2 big hurdles to cross.

anyhow, I CAN’T WAIT.

meanwhile.. bread is my comfort food to keep me going through the nite.

I think that my mum and dad are some of the wisest pple I’ll ever know in my life. the advice, the encouragements, the words of comfort I’ve ever gotten from them will probably stick with me always…

just felt the urge to say that. ha ha.

back to studying, the last lap for social psych! exam tmr morning. I’m inevitably dead meat. leave me some words of condolences, please.

work, study, and fat

juz got home from work at the cricket ground! I am so sick of chips and fish and meat pie even though I don’t even eat meat pie. brought home a ton of loot though, for my housemates. too bad sad case cj friend left already or u can join in the free meat pie feast. my wrist is very sore from scooping chips all night long, and my stomach is even more sore from nibbling on them all night long.

work was pretty fun anyway. really appreciate this job that sends me everywhere, I always get to meet new pple, see new places. the in-charge today was this young girl named deborah who’s 19 and studying at UTS and she talks alot. it makes working fun. and the cook guy actuallly works at matsuya!! ha ha! we almost went there last nite for dinner. so cool. if I had a choice, I’d choose to be a kitchen hand next time. I had a whale of a time making the food. and I will have a whale of a time making food forever and ever… I wanna work in a sushi restaurant or something. say, I should fulfill my dad’s dream for me to become a fugu chef. ha ha.

anyway, I am now $550 poorer. I sent wiggles to the workshop this morning to get his alternator fixed. well I’m just glad he’s alright now.. phew. but pumping money into the little thing I’m about to sell didn’t make me feel exactly elated. at least I can drive to church tomorrow with a peace of mind that wiggles isn’t going to die on the road.

this weeks gonna be a dreader. I know it’s gonna whizz by, and yet, it’s gonna be my longest week here by far. research project I haven’t started on, psych exam I haven’t studied for, Jap exam I wanna score HD for. I don’t know if I can handle it, or if I’ll even survive..

okay I’m gonna shower now and get the smell of chips and meat pie off me… then I’ll settle down, practise some Jap by writing in my JAP BLOG(!!) then take some notes for my research proj then study for psych.

wiggles… =(

2 people are coming to view wiggles today!! hope I can get a good offer… but, they’re both late. one ws supposed to come at 11 and theo ther at 12 (which is now) but apparently they are m.i.a……..

anyway, futorimasu. been eating so darned much, and studying too darned little. finished my final ling essay alr, which means…… done with psycholing!!!! :) 4 more subjects to go!

anyway, btw, my sad case fren from cj is here visint in sydney and is still snoring away.. lol !!

hm, dunno what to do now, cuz if I study no doubt I’ll get interrupted in awhile. so I shall just slack.. and listen 2 music (my newww FULL respighi ballet).. hee!

er.. I’m slacking…

507am: I’m supposed to be writing my final essay but obviously I’m getting very distracted. blogging + watching youtube videos X.x but AH HA, I managed to find the entire rossini-respighi ballet at last! benn looking for it for soo long.. yum!

actually, I’m just listening to the videos more like it. rite now blasting POP music into my brain to jolt it a little. augh..
