September 25, 2009I recently saw an ad by Emily Blunt telling people to boil just enough water for your cup of tea. and it really struck me… how true! why the heck was I boiling a whole kettle full each time only to use 8oz and wait for the rest to cool off? my gosh how much electricity and earth’s resources I’ve been wasting! so now I really do only boil just enough for my cup of tea! ha.

ps. those are the little chocolate tea cakes I recently baked hehe
i so agree!!!! omg i have been wasting so much energy boiling an entire kettle of water and deceiving myself that i’d find some use for the hot water…and then it cools off lol
yeah! and things like switching off the lights when you’re not around etc! (and I’m very guilty of leaving my computer on all day..)
omggg the cakes look awesome!!! hehe were they good?
anyway am totally guilty of everything – boiling too much water, leaving the computer on…omg sorry earth
